No dog in this fight, but seems to me some objective, third party, before and after test results would be very informative. Anybody have anything like that?

John,

A technical breakdown was written up and is posted in the members area...

Edit... I had to go track down the thread... JetFuel posted it and I think there was a reason it was placed in the members area.

Yes, you are right. Tact is a wonderful virtue and most time in short supply.

I'd have to go back and check into the other thread to see if these were the same folks who were extolling its virtues there. The web site explanation of the device was pretty specific about it not increasing horsepower or lowering your time for 0-60 or in the quarter mile.

There are a lot of things we all spend on money on for various forms of pleasure and excitement. One of my vices is alcohol and I think I'll get some of that to help me with my tact.

Now if price is an issue, that's one thing. But if you intend on having this car for some time and like performance it's another thing. This mod is worth it and just makes the car more fun...bottom line. It's very easy to understand...without booster off the line there is a delay in response and very annoying....with booster there is no delay and very fun. Not a very hard choice if you're looking for performance, especially if you can return it.

I would invite you to prove that... I'll put my smart with it's cold intake and Doug Thorley Exhuast in one lane and you line up in the next. No ego's or I'm better than you... just simply prove the upgrade.

I was just expressing my thoughts on the product since people would like to know from an actual user. I didn't get down to doing 0-60 tests or anything like that. I am going by how it affects my daily driving. The bottom line is, I do like it. some people want more facts/ figures than my opinion which is fine. There really is a technical paper out there. it is worth reading for those interested.

Also, I may be fortunate to be driving distance from Smart Madness but the 95% of the people out there who aren't should know that Smart Madness has a return policy. If you don't believe me, you are welcome to give them a call.

You and I are on the same page... you're more than welcome to express your thoughts... just understand that this product has been discussed previously and some of us have different opinions.

If you like it on your car that's all that matters. I offered to put up my smart to prove the upgrade.

As for SM's return policy, I'm well aware of it... but like I stated before, the current economy hasn't left alot of us with $300 to invest even to try it out... much less buy it.

Like I said, if you like it on your car than that's all that matters.
