Are the suspension set-ups different for the 450 vs. 451?

I'm a bit confused if they're different or the same because it seems that springs are sold either for the 450 or 451. However, I've read that some people have installed the Eibachs made for the 450 on their 451. Based on this, would it then be possible to purchase a 450 coilover system and install it on a 451?

The springs might be the same but the shock absorbers aren't.
So, no. A 450 coilover kit won't fit a 451.

I've adapted the 450 springs onto my car (nothing else was available at the time).

You have to fab spring hats for the rear but the front bolted right on. Only way a kit for the 450 would work is if all the mounting points on the front were the same.
