The sweet sound of a Doug Thorley Dual tip split exhaust.

Back in Feb. I purchased the Doug Thorley Split Dual Tip Stainlees Exhaust.
It has been on the car for about 2200 miles. At first it seemed a little loud but after a few thousand miles it mellows nicely. I have not experienced the drone I have heard with other exhaust.

This first clip is in the drive way. It sounds a little hollow but keep in mind it is pointing into an empty concrete garage.

This next one is with the windows up driving.

And the last one is K-Mart parking lot.

I am very happy with this system. With the split exhaust I can still add a hitch in the future. But it still hasn't stopped people from asking if it is electric.

Awesome sound bites. Kinda sounds like my old monza exhaust on my old Fiat Spyder.
Now all I have to do is decide between this exhaust and the Carlsson quad tip. I just wish Borla had offered a thru valance split tip and it would have been a no brainer. Does your split tip have the flex pipe on it. Thanks again.

The car does have that euro sound to it with this exhaust.

And no It does not have a flex pipe. I have been under the cars dozens of times checking it, so far so good. The welds all look great.

So did you cut out the exhaust holes yourself?

Yes I did. It wasn't to hard. I had painted the panel first then put masking tape on it to draw the guige lines for cutting.

Don't rush it. measure 4 times and cut once. I suggest a variable speed saw with a fine cut blade.
