So you will get brake fade from using a BBK like that? What kind of fluid DOT 3, 4 or 5 you using? Just wondering.

btw T, might as well upgrade the fluid and the lines to SS (unless supplied). For street, ATE gold or blue will be fine.

Hey Vince, the BBK kit comes with SS lines...and yes, the brake fluid will get replaced

Who knows, this mod *may* become useful if I ever decide on an engine swap or the turbo upgrade

Chris from Home (dealer in canada 250-385-1408) get the the front brabus 16's. Smart usa will not let me order them due to safety reason. they end up being about 650 each rim plus freight. the front rim part number for the 16's is A451 401 20 02 C17B

We have a smart in our shop now that is getting the S-Mann front and rear disk brakes installed along with a header, exhaust, cold air intake vertical doors and many other toys.

So, if you are in the so cal area and want to see the brake kit in person drop by our shop sometime in the next week or two and you will see the new project car and all the "stuff".

TBone.... Are you installing the front, rear or both sets?

Boris, just the fronts for now. Once my new rims come in, I will measure to see if the rear can clear the caliper. If so, I'll order the rears. I didn't want to lose any rear lip size on my new rims "just" to accomodate the rear caliper.
