We had a customer come in today with some custom built 17's (completely his own design) he already bought the sensors from me a few weeks ago and was going to have us program them to the car. the tires have been on the car since sunday. Well when we go to program the car he had all the serial numbers written down ready to go. when we check and they are already in the computer. Some how all the new TPM self programed to the ecu with any scan tool. i dont know if this works every time but just thought i would post it saying its possible.
other note i will be sell the DTH dual center tip exhaust by mid febuary when their new stock arrives.
I boght wheels and snow tires and a set of TPMS sensors from the TireRack, the sensors are labeled as a Chysler (Mopar) product.
No need to program them, just swap the wheels as the seasons change.
Oh, uh.. and I comfirmed that they work when the pressure droped enough to set off the warning light due to cold weather.
