Hey Krusty,
How do you like the split twin exhaust. How is the sound? Does it have a lot of drone inside the car. I like the look of the split exhaust better then the dual center and unfortuniately Borla's new one is below the valance which I hate the looks of so the exhaust you put on is my top choice right now and I wanted to find out how you like it. By the way your car looks great.

A good friend of mine owns Diversified Foam Products in St. Louis.
I got it out of his scrap pile. I used an industrial grade spray adhesive. The fender wells have to be clean for the adhesive to work best.

I love it. Keep in mind I don't like silent cars. It is louder than most people would expect. But then again most people expect this thing to be electric. As far as "drone"goes, not bad at all.At 65 to70 mph the wind noise can usually drowned it out. At 45 mph I like the sound it makes, not a drone but a sporty euro sound like an old Jag or TR6. A t idle it makes a really cool put-put sound, almost like it has a cam in it. With the factory valance on the car you can see the cross pipe. But you can see the factory muffler too.
Funny they call it a split exhaust. It's one long pipe with tho exhaust tips on it.
I will try to get some audio of it in the next few days and post it here.

Thanks for the info. I like loader exhausts too. I've had an R32 and a TT 3.2L with the flapper in the exhaust that opens at a certain RPM and makes it louder. On both cars I forced the flap to stay open all the time which in my opinion was one the best sounding exhausts I have heard. The only problem running on the highway the TT's drone got annoying but it took an hour or two. I look forward to hearing the exhaust.

A few months back I added the rear spoiler. I finally got to take the car on a road trip, and what a difference. When I pass the big rigs, the wind turbulance is not as bad. It deffinatly has an effect on how the car handles at 70, seems more stable.

I only have one pic of it now but I will post more soon.

Wow great job Krusty! The car really looks good. Now all you need are a set of Brabus wheels

Joining SCOA a good idea, though it may be months before SCOA acknowledges your membership.
