I'd like to highlight some of your more "interesting" statements.

I had the impression this forum would be the same.

big UPS. (What does UPS have to do with this? Why do you feel they are superior to FedEx? They both offer hassle free shipping at competitive rates.)

Ya'll take care and drive safe. (Thanks Bobby. So sweet.)

Custom turbo kit

Honda civic turbo kit are going for about 1200 dollar which includes intercooler,Blowoff valve,piping,hoses,clamps,etcc..800 If you add in upgrade ecu with tuning. Then your going to need bigger injectors. So three injectors are going to cost about 300 bucks. All totaling up to 2300 dollars.

I think 4500 is going to be a hard sell. maybe 2000-2500 sounds more reasonable. I rather a fast nickel then a slow dime. In other words, you rather sell one kit for 4500 or sell 20 kits for 2500.

I don't think it would be possible to sell them for $2500, IMO. Consider the cost to develope and produce it and the fact the market for them for a 451 is way smaller than a mass produced Civic. I have no idea

price is not even an issue for me. not that i have unlimited funds, it's just that i see no reason to try and make the smart something it's NOT....A Performance Car.

i want mine for simply driving to and from work (approx 60+ miles round trip) and for short trips to and from the store. THAT'S IT!

i'm not looking to do any drag racing, drifting or taking to IMS. i'll leave that for Roger Penske and HIS team. i only want to get around town more safe, less costly and of course, more smart and at the same time.....HAVE FUN DOING IT!

if i wanted to spend THAT kind of money for performance, i'd buy a Mini "S".......

good luck to the guy who started this thread, it's people like him that take the time to do something that you will all thank him for later on

and to the ppl rubbishing him, then i hope you never get to enjoy the smart 451 turbo

if its a complete turbo kit and 100% bolt on nothing required thats a good deal for the HP % gain you will get

to be honest though i dont think you will ever be able to get the ecu to work, but good luck trying

and gee only a few more $$ to get a smartzuki c'mon you kidding me.... they arent a real smart car, wanna go deaf? remove your engine cover and see what it's like then then add 100deg cabin temps then everything a small economical car is good at...

hey dont get me wrong i'd love one as a track car but not for regular use...

and if you havent driven a 451 turbo your really missing out, mine is stock and with the a/c on full blast i can easily climb the steepest hills on the hwy in 5th gear no issues and as easy if not easier than most 2+L cars also its considerably faster, stock performance testing when not even run in has had me see repeatable 0-100km/h times (0-62mph for you folk) in 9.8sec and if not for the stupid amount of time it takes for the cogs to swap it could quite easily be done in the 8's if it were a real manual..

and they are limited to 145km/h but un restricted well i've seen 170km/h and i believe thats where my limiter is set atm, and there is plenty more left in it supprisingly
