Our first programming is done using a piggyback computer with a very easy wiring install and she runs great. I will be driving her tonight to go over any drivability issues and will have her on the dyno tomorrow.

We decided to go with the piggy back for a few reasons. One we do not have the calabration as yet to load in the computer and two in a way its better to use the piggy back since you can just simply remove the computer and turbo in 2 hours still go to the dealer under warranty and have your computer upgraded any time.

More info tomorrow.

I'd guess it has a lot to do with the millions it would cost Penske to certify that engine with the EPA/DOT, and the fact that a year or two ago there were a lot more unknowns about the market for the US version of the fortwo.

It looks like they made a good call-not for us, but business wise. Who would have guessed that after the wait lists and overpaying on ebay just to get a car, that there would be hundreds of unsold cars available today on dealer lots?
