Will there be some folks that you would trust out here in SoCal that could do the install and take care of issues (should they arise)?

get defensive, but your system is nothing more than a crude remote turbo setup thats not intercooled... and your corvette turbo kits are locally produced here APS.

start talking extra injectors and your starting to make me think your going to stick a carb on it, the comparison to the bike isnt a good one, the engine and turbo are exposed and recive airflow over it, the engine compartment of a smart car dosent recieve the airflow that the bike does or even what a front engined car does, wait till a hot day, and you will suffer from terrible performance..

the factory turbo smart does not.

Well, I think speedforceracing.com domain has expired.

Also speedforceracing's dyno setup results are not what I'd consider to be real world, unless you drive around with your engine bay open and an HVAC air duct attached to your car.

But this is Breathless Performance's thread. Without an intercooler, low psi is the conservative way to go and they seem to understand that. The trick will be the engine management programming. I'll look forward to seeing some of their dynos.

Yes our turbo is mounted low and the air cleaner also to pick up the cooler air and yes the cover fits perfect. Sorry you do not like the way we did the system and to get the facts straight we did produce our own Corvette turbo kit before APS did and we did and still do produce our own Vrod Turbo kit.

If you go to this link it has the turbo system we designed in 05 for our c6 and at the time made 950 hp and ran in the mid 9s on street drag radials long before APS.

Low boost, cool air to the turbo and air filter all at a resonable price is the key for the fun factor.

Ok maybe we were not the first but I think we will be the first for a production kit.
