Larry, three words for you - Kansas City installs.

Thank you, Larry still has some tweaks in store for the car. Very happy driving the car. Getting ready to custom install a Valentine 1 radar detector

Rear-view mirror replacement?

I have a V1 in my Cabrio, mounted up at the top of the windshield with the V1 remote display down in the LH cubbyhold. Probably not as "custom" as some applications I've seen, but it works *very* well in "stealth mode" that way, and still has a V1 warranty. I'll be interested in seeing what you come up with for your V1.

Is the turbo and manifold from a European market BRABUS? If not, that's some pretty decent-looking hardware. The lack of the 98 HP turbo engine is what keeps me from buying a new BRABUS up here in Canada, to complement my cdi.

Here is what I came up with today.

I removed the top piece by removing the right and left visors and lifted the rearview mirror up. The piece has 2 rear retention tabs, pull those toward you and then slide the piece forward and down. The valentine 1 and the cable fits nicely above the dome light and reassemble.

I placed the remote on-off volume control in the glove box. I placed the remote display to the right of the speedo cluster in the right side cubby hole.

I thought I would have to scrape the black paint on the inside of the windshield off as well as cut a hole in the plastic for the rear detector but I didn't. The detector is very sensitve through the rear plastic and through the black paint. This is a very stealthy install

Mike here is a link to the SpeedForce racing website. The build quality on the kit is excellent!

How long have you had your turbo? Has it been a fun experience for you too? I have been loving the extra boost in power!

Did you have Larry install just the stage 2 SFR kit? Headers? Any chance you can shoot a quick 0-60mph video, while driving in auto mode?

I had Larry install the stage 2 SFR kit with stock exhaust header and leaving the catalytic converter. I had him put in the adjustable boost controller guage so the boost could be viewed and controller from the dash. I wanted to have the power yet keep it quiet enough to listen to the stereo.....

We first installed Larry's muffler which faced down under the valence and later changed it to the one where the two exhaust tips come out the center as there was a delay in the shipping. There was a huge difference in quietness in the car I would suggest if you were getting a turbo to make sure the tips exit the bodywork.
