I like the Blendmount solution, but has anyone actually installed the mount? The mirror arm on the 451 does NOT look like this mount fits, so I am asking if anyone has actually installed one. I have an e-mail question into Blendmount at this time and will post the reply I receive. This mount might require a "homemade" adapter.
I have the blendmount and while it is a very nice product it will not fit the Smart rvm as built. When I have time, I plan to explore a possible workaround by modifying the attachment piece. That said, I am not optomistic as the Smart rvm does not have a swivel at the windshield connection point - something the BM needs in order to work. LDC
