WTest drove Smart Car on Friday & Monday. So cool - so much fun.

Lingering questions:
When SmartCar invents the next generation of fuel-efficient engines - will we simply be able to pop it into today's Smart - or will we have to buy a new one?

What kind of maintenance/repair costs are we talking? What do they say in Canada & overseas?

I have a 10 ft 10 in kayak. I'm thinking I can not transport it with a SmartCar - because of the overhang & the fact i cannot see a Thule rack on top of it.

I'm thinking next year they might have new cool colors - and I could just switch color. Does that make sense? How much will it cost to replace panels?
