Hey Frost,

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone tried to stuff a honda motor in a smart...Good for you.. I can't wait to see it finished..

I have attach a photo of my old Mini.. Its a 1972 mini with a b-16 honda vtec inside.. I had the car built in Georgia by Minitec about 4 years ago. I just recently sold it to a guy in Northern Caifornia.. It was a beast.. it had about 198hp...It could beat just about every street honda on Maui.. It was just to much car for me.. I would have ended up dead driving it.

I decided on a smart after my trip in 2006 to europe.. that's when I fell in love with the smart car. I now own my 2009 smart..

I think it is great that you are doing this project.. Please keep us posted.

Aloha, Tim

H2B smart making about 280whp NA sounds good to me

Hell, a D16Z6 with 405whp on boost wouldn't be bad either

That mini is awesome....
"awww look its a mini" (crack vtec).....

thanks for the update! Will be looking forward to more.

How much custom work (if any) was required to fit the honda engine into the engine bay?
