Vibration/Noise - Breathless twin pipe exhaust

After installing the Breathless twin pipe exhaust I notice a vibration/noise coming from the engine compartment at around 2000 rpm. I think it might be the heat shields since the exhaust doesn't have the heat shield mounting screw that the stock muffler had. Has anyone else had this experience? I didn't have this before the install and I didn't encounter any problems with the install.

Mine is doing it also. A sort of rattle and buzz combined. I've also noticed a slight noise at idle speeds if I let it roll forward on just the idle. Very annoying and I am looking at some sort of mod to stop it. It may require some change to the heat sheild or it's mount. If you've got any ideas, let me know.

I haven't noticed any noise with my DTH center system, but I do notice more vibration than originally. I suspect that the factory flex coupler helped to absorb some of it. I've gotten used to it after 2000 miles.

Take a look at where you removed the little screw that held the heat shield to the original muffler, Mine was close, I bent it back with a small pry bar and now it does not touch the pipe. Mine rattled there until I bent it up a little.

the best way to find the noise is to back the car up on ramps, set the brake, have someone in the car while you look underneath, have them slowly bring the rpm up to about 3000 while you are watching for noise.
I had a small bar that I touched things with until I found what was making the noise.

I am pretty sure I bent the heat shield when I removed the old muffler and that is why it rattled.
