I have a set of centerline wheels size 15X7" 5-bolt with a 5 1/2" bolt pattern that I was thinking of putting them on my smart using a set of wheel adapters.

Any thoughts from anyone?

You'll have to pull the wheels off every 1,000 miles to check your adapters.

Doesn't seem worth the hassle to me since there are now so many choices for wheels that fit the Smart.

We used to offer wheel adapters because of a lack of wheel options, but now we stock over 20 different wheels that are designed specifically for the smart. The need for the adapters has gone away.

Having a direct bolt on wheel improves the handling of the car while having a set of wheels and adapters can cause a negative effect on the handling. Just our 2 cents from having both on our cars.

I got mine 15mm in OEM wheels in the back and handles better....
