Who here has a header NA?

Worth it?

Had a header on my last car(Civic) and it made a noticeable difference in midrange torque and peak power. Was a good design though, headers available for the smart are more equivalent to "shorty" types.

Even the shorty header would be an improvement over the stock exhaust manifold... At least it would eliminate #1 runner aiming directly at # 3 runner...or as "Jet" calls the Menorah..

Just purchased a Smartie with a brabus pipe/muffler. Is this a good item? Seems a bit loud for me at 73+ Love the car but a tad noisy. Anyone have a nearly new stock to trade me plus a little cash? Smartie has 3J miles. Location - Pa

I'm also looking for a header for the smart NA, if I recall correctly Doug Thorley used to make one but seems like it's been discontinued some time last year. Does anyone know why? I know their exhaust had some quality issues but clearly the header did not?

SFR header looks pretty tempting if not for the steep pricing . And isnt the tubing size an overkill for NA application? If diameter is too big then gas velocity will be too slow and reduce its scavenging effect?

I have had a Doug Thorley header on my car for 3 years. To be truthful I don't think a header helped the performance much if at all. It is louder though.
