Thanks for the replies. Details on the parts/accessories will be announced at the June 28th with a show and tell and Q&A with the WORKS engineers.
I will be the one taking orders on all of the "Smarter" items and processing these through WORKS for the time being. We chose to go that route since I am the most familiar with the car and spend the most time interacting with the community both here online and in-person at meets and events.
Later, as WORKS signs up dealers, those folks will be handling the majority of sales.
The plan is to have dealers carrying the parts that offer installation. Should you choose to install them yourself, they will have detailed instructions - not to mention a warranty - just like the other WORKS items that they sell. Although WORKS does R&D and development work both for Mitsubishi N.A. and their own line of products, everything for the "Smarter" line was designed from the ground up specifically for our cars. My personal car was the development and evaluation car for most of these initial products.
Dyno numbers will be coming soon (we had hoped to use WORKS' Dynapak, but this requires special 3-lug hub adapters for our cars) so most likely the numbers will be provided on a traditional roller dyno initially. As for the ECU tweaks (they hope to offer a reflash if there is enough demand) stay tuned for now. I am pushing for it, but a lot of the additional development work and resources that would require are dictated by what kind of demand they see for these initial products that they have developed.
I hope that helps answer some of the questions, and I look forward to beginning the pre-order process on the 28th.
Thanks,
DavidV
