Our apologies for being a bit negative, but there is another saying that we would like to mention this holiday season.

"If you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all".

Some folks on this board do little else but wine and complain about every little thing. It seems that about half of the products we have introduced to the smart community get constant attacks from naysayers. Interesting thing is that the naysayers never bother to try most of the products, even with a money back guarantee!

Don't like it? Don't buy it!

Buy it and do not like it? Send it back.

It is that simple. Please do not go on public forums and try to make other people look foolish for trying something out and liking it. It is their money and their decision. Obviously more than enough people enjoy the benefits they receive from some of the products we offer like the cold air intake and the sprint booster. That is why many of them go on a public board and express it. They do this knowing they will get attacked by others that have not even bothered to try it.

By the way! Both items are currently sold out. They must be many fools out there. Ourselves included, since we have two of the modules and two of the new cold air intakes installed on our cars.

Hate to come across negative, but come on guys. Don't you have anything better to do on your days than to sit on the computer trying to find things to pick apart or people to berate?

Perhaps we should make a little new year resolution.... Be a little nicer to everyone on this forum. It will really make this a much better place.

Thank you and Happy Holidays everyone!

The sprintbooster has many positive reviews in the Mercedes community as well. While I have not tried it (I have an ECU tune), many people who have installed it have said that it eliminates the lag when they stomp on the gas pedal

As for a faster gearchange, proof please.
I was contemplating a comment about the effectiveness of placebos, but I'll withhold that. I agree with Evilution that proof is needed.

When will the controlled tests be done which clearly show this advertised improvement?

...as a motorhead it seems only fitting that a 1/4 mile slip will put an end to the so called placebo effects on the smart performance....not a dyno slip...after all we don't drive dynos...

...smartmadness...I'll thank you for all the time and effort that you and your company have put into the betterment of an already awesome car...

Thanks Boris. As you and I discusssed at length the other day, the cyberworld is full of people that find it easer to be ignorant and attack things they don't understand. As a moderator at another high performance automotive site, I see these kind of folks come in and out of those forums everyday.

To all pundants: As an owner of 4 high performance street cars; one of which exceeds 600 H.P., and as a holder of a ASE Master Tech certification, as well as being a standing member within the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), I am acutely aware of the difference between bull**** products and products that work; and I will say again that the Sprint Power Booster works. It works so well that I intend to install a couple in my other late model high performance cars and then let everyone at the other site know how well it works on those cars too.

It works so well, that the owner of a brand new 09' 451 with 60 miles on it purchased the last module that Borris had in stock after taking a demo ride with one installed in his car. He came back with a ****-eating grin on his face and barked "SOLD!" as he exited his car; that happened yesterday (12-23).

Although I do not have to prove anything to anyone here, I would be glad to meet anyone in Southern California with a stock 451 at the Irwindale Raceway for a drag race in order to establish 1/8th mile (Irwindale is an 1/8th mile drag strip) trap times between my car and a un-moduled one.

Evilution, I was going to let your comment and POV go by the roadside, but your fool comment pissed me off so I have decided to call you out. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, come out to California with your car so I can demonstrate who the real pillock is in this equation.

You know, I've never met you but for some reason you remind of Jim Carrey doing this: YouTube - assholo.

Happy motoring...

You know I wasn't going to say anything but everyone jumping on Evilution isn't right, IMHO. I agree with him personally. Everything he does for the smart community and he says something about a product (I mean cost is a issue in the world economy) and then everyone jumps on him? It was just his opinion. Not a personal slam!

I kind of seemed personal to me but everyone sees it differently... this thread doesn't need to turn into a 100 reply pissing contest.

IT'S CHRISTMAS... TAKE A DEEP BREATH

Sure it is. If you want to express an opinion, there are plenty of ways to do so without insulting other members or coming across as negative, both of which it seems Evilution has difficulty in doing lately. It also helps to have all of the information before making a "matter-of-fact" comment.

Wow! Take it easy. He wasn't making a personal attack, just his opinion. You people need to grow some thicker skin if you let something as simple as his post bother you that much.
Merry Christmas.
