X-Mann, a lift kit for the smart!

Thought you have seen everything?

Well, here is a smart car lift kit that is now in production and will be available shortly. The kit is manufactured by our partner company S-Mann in Netherlands. It is designed to fit both the 450 and the 451 model smart car and will give you a raise of 3" not counting the raise you would receive if you were to install bigger wheels and tires.

We are working on a set of custom wheels and tires for this modification which should also be available shortly (in time for SEMA).

While this is surely not for everyone, we think it will be a lot of fun for some. So far the car in the pics have been driven about 2,000 km and the feedback is fantastic.

More details coming soon! Very soon! Meanwhile here are some pics of the raised 450:

It's Madness I tell ya!

What's the driving characteristics like? Does this increase body roll at all? Just curious.

Oh man. That is ONE thing I do not miss about living in Europe. The want to raise everything. There used to be a CRX that ran around town that had wide tires on the rear and skinny on the front.

It will be unique when you finally do a car with it. Actually I might have been well off if I would of had it a few months back when the road flooded by my house. River ran over and the water went over the bridge. I was going to cross then I heard a familiar whining so I turned around and drove 10 miles out of my way. (whining was the wife).

Can't wait to see the finished product even if I probably won't like it. The nerf bar kit, an extra tire on the front (or safari rack on the roof) and it'll be awesomely diffedrent!!

From what S-Mann has personally told me it is a lot of fun to drive. He put on over 2000km driving it all around and loved it.

I won't be able to tell you for a couple of weeks (until we get one done here and I have a chance to drive it around).

We are in the process of putting together a smart similar to your description! If it looks anything like the picture I have in my head than I will be happy.
