When I put mine in reverse my exhaust tip hits my rear valance (very audible) because I trimmed it too close. 300+ miles on system so far.

I have the Breathless Performance Exhaust, I have a knock when accelerating from a dead stop. Not sure what it is, I plan to investigate.

Took time to check, it seems the 2 exhaust bolt worked themselves a bit loose. Tightened them and the noise is gone.

In drive - 5th gear. Of course, my imagination over the last 6000 miles and driving the same 20 mile stretch of road lead me to believe I was only seeing 3100rpms and now driving that same stretch in the same spot it is once again my imagination I am now seeing 2900rpms. Maybe there is another variable though... I'll get back on this - I may have overlooked something and there really could be something I missed.

I'd find it hard to justify the cost of titanium, vs the weight savings of a couple of pounds. The standard 'bullet' was half the cost of the others, with similar payoffs. To each, his own.

We're only on the second tank with the 'bullet' exhaust, so I have to wait for more data to know what the mileage is. Besides, the car is still loosening up at about 2k miles, so any of my data is not really valid.

We do enjoy the increased aural feedback.

Bum-bling-bee, maybe your clutch was slipping until it bedded in, but your gear ratios did not change due to an exhaust install. It is very possible that the tach could be getting a different signal if something is plugged in better or worse than it used to be. You might check to make sure all plugs to the tach are tight. I would even look at the battery leads and make sure they are really snug....several have apparently not been and this would likely have an effect on electrical devices like the tach.

Actually, I figured out what it was. Weight. I had the exhaust done while my wife was sick. Checked everything then. Now shes better and rides with me all the time again. Same speed - different (higher) RPM's due to a bit of extra weight. I should of figured that out before. I knew there was something different once whalepirot mention that.

Check to see if the RPMs are even higher still while loaded and going up as steep an incline as you can find while staying in top gear at speed. If so, and especially if you can get the RPMs to vary, you have a slipping clutch and it needs to be seen by a dealer.

No, the RPM's are lower. With our normal gear in the car plus us we hit the 500lb mark - more RPM's due to the car pulling more #'s on the same flat surface. It's only 200 RPM's so almost barely enough to notice - I normally look at my Scangauge on the same open stretch of road (I have hte dash tach but as I said, you barely notice 200 on the dash tach. I know the clutch isn't slipping. We don't have too many step grades here in Florida. It is a little hilly though.

Had the DTH put in over a month ago and I'm not all that excited about it anymore. Although I get a little increase in acceleration I've lost about 3-4 MPG in fuel economy. With the AC on all the time and running around 45 MPH around town, the best I've gotten was 32 MPG. On the highway with AC on and speed at 70 MPH, the best I've gotten is 35 MPG with the DTH versus the 39 MPG with the stock muffler.
