The wrap, installed, was $80. I don't know what he would ask for just the wrap without the installation.
As to the difficulty - it was about 95 degrees out when he did mine, making the vinyl very stretchy, which, if you are careful, actually makes it easier, but there is a technique to it.

Never the less I also believe he left under good terms and he remains a fan and supporter of smart cars and is proud of his participation in the early years of the introduction here in the USA.
I talked to him last night and he's still very proud of smart and his association with the brand. I teased him about his "cult figure" status with we brand devotees and he laughed but said he was truly flattered. (His wife still has her smart - I saw the lollipop on her keychain but not the car itself.) He believes that the owners, like we do, are truly the ambassadors for the brand, but this new venture was close to his heart and is excited about the possibilities it brings to the disabled.

I'm going to the VPG tour stop this AM in Detroit and look forward to seeing his new MV-1.

Maybe as long as 20 "regular" cars, but infinitely more enjoyable!

And welcome to #52, our first Texan (well, I won't sweat to that, but the first person registering from Texas).

I am sure there is some cosmic reason for it, but this time, the numbers are a bit smaller, but much more wide-spread. And I ain't complaining! Welcome all!

Great news! I just spoke with the Fontana Village folks - they are extending the reservation period (re: group rate) to the 16th of August. If you have been holding back due to Fontana's normal price (or made reservations else-where for the same reason), you may want to reconsider and move over to Fontana.
