3 Q's as I sets and thinks

I'm thinking about White/Black w/ Red Interior.

1) Are there any problems with the Red Interior creating glare on the windshield?

2) Where does the speedometer connect? i.e. The O'l tire dia. size problem so speed registers correct.

3) Has anyone ever been stranded in say, Arkansas, cause they didn't have a spare?

Question 1 about the glare is or not an issue, then I could forego the red and get a Pure. As Red isn't available on the Pure.

TKS,
TheGreg

I have the red interior and the glare from the dash did bother me until I bought a black dash mat. It doesn't seem to be a big deal until you see the difference with / without the black dash mat. I really like the red interior and would choose it again. If you think you might change your panels consider how it would go with a new exterior color. Red interior and yellow clash very badly. I really wanted the yellow but am too cheap to pay to replace the rally red panels.

Oh, and I bought an extra (pure) wheel and tire plus jack and lug wrench. The tire fits behind the driver's seat and jack and lug wrench fit in tail gate.

1) I don't have red, so I don't know.

2) The digital speedo is fed by a computer algorithm that takes its data from the wheel speed sensors. If you go up or down in tire diameter, you will have to do the arithmetic then add or subtract the indicated speed in your head.

2) A friend of mine was stranded for two days out in the boonies until smart arranged to have the car towed (their expense) to the nearest dealership - 420 miles away.

3) I had a spare until I sold it last weekend. I've got Ultraseal installed now and feel confident it can handle most punctures.

I went with Ride-On flat preventer. I drove hundreds of miles out of town a couple of weeks ago and found a screw in the tread of one of my front tires. Couldn't be bothered to remove it before driving home. No leakage at all.

Nice to be confident out there on the superhighways.

1) I have a beige interior and haven't noticed any glare problems.
2) No experience with this one...
3) I changed to 195/50 tires which is a commonly available size about anywhere. I don't carry a spare or any other tools, etc.

Great stuff

I've used it for years on my motorcycles and now use the CHS formula on my RV
