You are SO RIGHT! I don't even (normally) LIKE salmon, and I really, really like the Copper River salmon!
My wife and I were heading along the Washington coast a number of years ago, driving through this little town, and I saw this bright sign that said "Copper River Salmon.....$5.95 a pound!" I'd already passed it when it hit me.........$5.95 a pound???? That can't be right! IT WAS!! The owner of this little-bitty fish market had ordered 150 lbs. for a customer who THEN changed his mind, and she didn't have any place to keep it! So.....we filled the (little) freezer in our van with all that we could fit. Grilled it the next morning for breakfast, and it was TRULY WONDERFUL!!
It was the first time that either of us had eaten it, and it was AMAZING!!
