driverno55 - Welcome to the forum!!! Victorville, Ca. ? Your dealership would be San Francisco? 12 - 14 months or less if you are lucky enough to get an Orphan. You have to request to be placed on your dealerships Orphan list. Give them a call or drop an e-mail.

Just keep checking in person. I walked in last tuesday with no reservation and just wanted a test drive and bought it that day! If you are open to configuration your chances are greater to get one sooner. Good luck!

What was I thinking!! So. Cal.

Get to know the sales rep and GM, let them know what is acceptable to you and hope for the best!! Keep in contact with them, you are in a large market which makes getting the car you want easier depending on how many dealer add-ons they stick on the car.

Cool thanks. How soon should they be calling me. Or do I need to track them down? I haven't heard what dealer I'm assigned too.

You will be assigned the closest dealership geographically. Call them now, they will want to know if you have reserved a car. Ask about the Orphan process, all dealers are running their own version of 'Orphan 1.0' so get to know whether they call from top to bottom, try to match your wants to an available Orphan or have established their own criteria for Orphan distribution from the list. Good Hunting!!
