another newbie w/questions - too much heat from above!

hey there,
picked up my passion coupe 2 weeks ago but I get way too much sun (heat) from the pano roof. Since my tint guy said I should not tint the plastic, what can I do to cover this up? - any clever ideas out there?
- love my smart! Thks!

Tint it. My tinting place already has a template for pano roofs and all leading tinting material sticks to plastic just fine, the smart is not the first car with a plastic window.

Thanks for the quick replies - I think I'll make a run to Target and do a cut out per Jefferios' post.
My tint guy swears that the tint on the plastic won't last long in Socal desert heat. He said once it shrivels up it'll be real tough to remove from the plastic without scratching it. Flashman, how long have you had the tint in?
