I come from a long line of small cars: Honda CRX, BMW M Roadster, MINI Cooper. I even shrunk down to a motorcycle and scooter. But, ever since I saw that smart car some 10 years ago in Europe, I had been wondering when it would ever make it to the US. Now that it has, I just had to have one. So, I went down to the dealership yesterday and put down my reservation.
I hope to be rolling tiny sooner than 18 months, though!

Thanks! They actually have an all black one with a body kit that I almost took home. It was available. But, I want a new one and want to configure a few items differently. Plus, and most folks will find this funny, we have to find a place to park the smart in my communal garage because we're only assigned ONE and my wife's car and my motorcycle already occupy it.
