Any Interest in a St. Louis Area Club?

Just got my Smart after waiting almost a year. Now I would like to meet fellow owners. When I owned a British sports car, part of the fun was doing things with others. How about forming a group? Interested? MEETING SET UP: SEE MY NEWER POST.

It is a great idea. I've had my Smart for about three months Was a members of a motorcycle owners group for years and we had some great times. There are now a numbers of Smarts in the area and it would be good to get together and discuss the cars. The salesman at the dealership mentioned an owners get together but so far nothing has happened. Hope to hear from other Smart owners in the St. Louis area.

Somehow I thought there was a club already. If not, it's a great city to start one in. Lean on your smart center a bit - they are way behind if they're not hosting some events for their owners. "smarts at the Arch!"

I might be interested .I live in Evansville Ill and it seems that everything referring to Ill. is in the Chicago area but there is a lot more to this state than the far north (Evansville is about 40 miles south of St.Louis).I think I am the only owner in Randolph county and everyone seems to know my car (maybe it is the red suit I wear at the last mo. of the year?).See photo gallery.

I'm certianly interested. I've been trying to pull together some owners, but St. Louis doesn't have alot of people here. I've already visited with one smart owner in the area. Did a little smart cleaning ritual. It would be great to have a get together with and without the dealer help. Andy is the one trying from the dealer end to get something together, I'm betting he's the one who mentioned it. He's also the one getting more St. Louis area people to sign up.

There appears to be some interest in getting a St. Louis area Smart Owners together for some fun and fellowship. Somebody has to make the first move and I will be that person. I am just an owner and not affiliated with the dealership.

My wife and I will meet with any Smart owners who would like to join us on Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 pm at the Square One Brewery in St. Louis. They have a good web site so you can check out their location, etc... This will be an informal gathering with nothing in particular planned other than to meet other Smart owners for the first time and plan for the future. Pass the word.

I know some of you will be busy and there is probably no date that would please everyone so if you are able to come be sure to drive your Smart car.
