I'm in Chino Hills, but haven't as yet made a deposit. I'll probably follow reports on teh car's performance and service reliability in local driving conditions before I buy. Besides, I'm not planning on getting a new car until the '09s come out. That should reduce the likeilhood of seeing sticker prices having premiums added to them. This was the case when I purchased a 2000New beetle.

I have a new Mercedes engined Passion Cpe. Silver Tridion/ Jack Black Panels.

I purchased it on Ebay. Picked it up in Missouri. Drove it from Missouri to Cal and on up to Roseburg, OR to register (Have home in Roseburg).

I like it on the highway everybit as much as the city. I have put over 5000 miles on it in two weeks.

Would like to get in contact with other owners. People who are really into imported cars. (I go way back)

This is the most fun car I have had since my Austin Mini-Minor or maybe the Isetta, no maybe the 3-wheeled Morgan. Or..... Oh I guess they all have been fun.
