I ordered my blue cabrio on April 4th last year (res# 1189) so it should be coming soon to the dealership in Edison, NJ. Anyone hear anything from them about future shipments or has anyone been to pick up their car?? If so, what was your reservation #? I will need to travel up from DC to pick it up and I am trying to at least get a ball-park idea of when it will be. I just got a job at the Smart Center in Alexandria, VA and I know that Smart does not have any info for the dealers either...so, happy waiting

I live in Pennsylvania, have res # 1180, for blue CABRIO - I haven't been able to learn about possible delivery date also.

I tried (many times and spoke with different people). All they could tell me was that it should be coming soon and the best thing to do was to call headquarters in MI...they couldn't even tell me if they were my dealership! I had to call the Englewood dealer and have them tell me that I was in the area for the Edison dealer. I haven't been notified that my car was at the port or in transit yet. The only information I was able to get from HQ was that my car had already been configured. I'm trying to wait patiently but am really anxious to finally get one!
Iwantmysmart, Edison is a top notch dealership and Danny is very responsive. Unfortunately, he has limited information on deliveries until he is given the information. Hope your wait is short. I saw my girl on the showroom floor on Saturday and my scheduled delivery is 2/5. See ya on the boards and check out the Edison thread under Dealerships for more info from Danny and the gang. Sorry I have not been around the forums lately... I have been too busy helping clients. Unfortunately, smart USA is still working to get dealers online and on the same page so we all can log on to the dealer connect portal and locate Reservation Holder's builds. Also, coming very soon on the smartusa.com website will be a dealer locater where you can enter your zip code and smart usa will tell you your closest dealership.
The only way I know of an update is if smart USA sends me notification that your smart is either "In Production", "In Transit", or "In Port". I apologize and I know you are anxious, but please bare with me. I will let you know if I hear of anything.

Just wanted to let you know that your smart is at The Port and will be arriving at smart center Edison for delivery within the week, or early next week. I attempted to call you but was unsuccessful. Give me a call back at the showroom so we can pick-up where we left off in terms of gathering the information for paperwork. Hope you're excited!
