Well, a year ago we had here in Germany an interesting article in a cars-relatet newspaper about "Smart car facturers" located at China, who´re producing nearly exclusively for the market in Northern America, especially the States. These "cars" have nearly nothing to do with the originally Smart cars, but they´re trying to cheat peoples using the outside sight of it.
Eventually some guys of You americans are knowing german language and can give here a good summary of the article´s content? Thanks!
Some like this have come over. Because they can't meet any crash test they are limited to 35 mph. If you take a test drive and it can't get up to speed it should be a clue.
Thanks for Your replies. I think, seeing how these bubbles are being produced, anybody thinking about minimum of safety wouldn´t be amused anymore. The point is not only the offence of copyright; selling such a matchbox as an usable car is (in my eyes) almost the attempt, getting the customers severe injured or even died. The dealers, who´re importing them into the States and selling them to people, should be punished exactly for that.
