Car Wax

Hi, I just got my Passion 4two last weekend. I absolutely love. I feel like a celebrity.
Can anyone recommend wax, cleaner products to use?

Zaino's

Zaino's has great products. www.zainostore.com not cheap, great results. PS - I am not affiliated in any way - just use and like their products.

Yep, Zaino! Great products that are easy to use, protect the car and make it look GREAT!

Here's a link to my blog about washing and waxing my smart. Wash -n- shine my baby! - smart USA insider

and again if the above doesn't work.

Hey guys what do you use on the matte black plastic parts of your smart? I want my door handle, fuel door, etc to be glossy black.

I used a product recommended by dbwill "REJEX". It's easy to apply and bugs just rinse off with water. It makes my Black car shine.

Rejex -- Vote #2

Used Rejex on my non-smart car, easy to apply, no white on the non-painted surfaces, nice finish. Even seems to work like Rain-X on glass. Will go right onto my smart when I get it TOMORROW!

Klasse

I LOVE Klasse. Use the All-In-One and then a few coats of glaze. By itself, it lasts up to 6 months. With the glaze, (I've severely neglected my car this year!) it's lasted at least 9 months and counting. Car still shines and reflects like a mirror! You use very little of the AIO, you don't have to wait for it to dry before wiping off, it's easy to wipe off, and it won't get produce a white stain if you get some on your black rubber trim. I use it on the glass and lights also. Check out a new review at Autopia:

Wax/Polish

I have just ordered a Passion.

However, I own 3 Mercedes, all black. The only product I have ever used is Mequiar's. You can buy this at most auto parts strores.

What does everyone think about using Mequiar's on the Smarts plastic
panels?

Try Rejex. Meguiar's might be a bit of overkill on plastic panels. Protecting the painted finish on steel and aluminum panels on a conventional Mercedes-Benz calls for Meguiar's or something equally nice. On an unconventional Mercedes-Benz like the smart, the Rejex is awesome on plastic.
