This was way too cool! I told her we had to go down to the winery for her present. Then I told her her gift was an orphan. She thought she was getting a dog! When we opened the door to the cellaring cave she was absolutely speechless. Now here is the real kicker. We almost NEVER have a white Christmas, but this year we have over 16 inches on the ground. My 4 wheel drive F250 plows snow on the drive in. So, here she is with a new smart an all she can do is read the manual. Looks like the weather will be moderating on the weekend though. She really wants to be able to take it to work on Monday. Later today I will figure out how to post photos.

Thanks to all of you who have been keeping in touch. You have helped make this a great Christmas. I have never enjoyed giving a gift more than this one.

Really Happy for you and your wife. Wish my Xmas was as grand. Got my lay off papers last week to tell me my last day is Jan 19th. Going to be rough. But yet I still am going to pick my car up on the 14th of Jan if everything goes well. Cross your fingers. I do need a car even to look for work. So. hehe.

That is one Smart Christmas gift. I got another Smart for Christmas also. it was that Madisto 1/25 scale first generation Smart you see on ebay alot. I already have the real thing, but wanted this one to add to my car collection. I hope got pics of your wifes reaction and placed a big fat bow on the car. BTW was it an ordered car or an orphan?
