Communication ! ?

I made my $99 deposit many months ago.
I received a confirmation that it was received.
I have received no further communication other than an email directing me to this website.
I have emailed "Customer Service" TWICE with NO RESPONSE.

Any suggestions on where to go from her to get;
My order number?
More information on whether my reservation has become an official order?

The lack of response concerns me greatly.
Is this the type of service I should expect if I have concerns or need assistance with my vehicle in the future?

I'm not sure why you would be directed to "this web site" since nobody here has any accurate information about your reservation. We are just a bunch of guys guessing, predicting and griping.

You could check smartusa.com to see what the official line is and to get your reservation number call 1-800-SMART-USA.

What no call from Dave, relax it will all come together it takes a bunch of time at this point but if you can wait for it to run its course the reward is a neat little car that is the first of it's kind here is the u.s.
Lack of communication has been a huge complaint and bothers me as well, hpefully when the dealers go into operation soon it will take care of most of this. give the 800 # a try they where very nice if not too helpful to me

Thanks for the tips.
Because SMART sent me an email directing me to this site, I assumed the two were related.
I'll give Mrs. Wiggins a call at the 800 number on Monday.

If you received a confirmation on receipt of the $99, you should have a confirmation # that came along with that email.
On what date did you send the $99 in? Knowing this will enable us to help you more.

Probably would get the confirmation soon anyway. They were only working on May/June recently.
Maybe they think we can help better than anyone else. If this site was the only one he was sent, take it as a complement!

I completely understand that everyone is very anxious to receive their vehicles and many are waiting with bated breath for ANY type of communication from their respective dealerships to give them news on when to expect their vehicles.

We get calls daily from people just wanting to know, "is it time yet?"

Please rest assured that the dealers/smart are not ignoring you and you are not being passed up in line or anything of the sort. We, as dealers, still have yet to receive our customer reservation lists. While this is expected to be sent to us SOON, we still do not have them. I can promise you that as soon as dealers have those lists in their hands, we will be working as diligently as possible to contact EVERY reservation holder to make sure ALL their concerns and questions are addressed.

In the meantime, 1800-SMART-USA is a GREAT resource to confirmation that smart has received your $99 reservation and that you indeed have a place in line.

As I advise every noob that comes here..... DO NOT wait for your dealer to get in touch with you. Go there. Make yourself known. Most people here have a dealership near by. Since we don't know your number or location we can't direct you any further. This forum has a wealth of information and a bunch of helpful, knowledgeable, fun people. Welcome and search here till your heart's content. ~Bob~
