Confused

I have just registered and already I am confused and irritated. It seems that most of the people here just want to argue. I have reserved a smart fortwo for the primary reason of being able to tow it with my motorhome. If that can not be done with all four wheels on the ground, I might as well keep what I have been pulling around and not even bother.

I'm not into RV, so I don't have a point of view, but I hope it helps you make up one for yourself...

I'm sorry you are already frustrated. Forums tend to draw a certain level of complaining as well as differences of opinion, it is somewhat the nature of the beast.
To your question Yes, you can flat tow a smart car behind a motorhome. Do a search on this site for "flat towing" There were some differences of opinion early on but now a number of people have clearly demonstrated that the smarts can be flat towed.

I hope this helps.

Agreed, but that doesn't explain the level of flaming going on. Not all forums have an issue with flaming. The fact is that a difference of opinion doesn't mean you have to be rude or insulting. I wonder if that is what the person meant by "arguing". My mother taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. I try to live by that on forums, but it's hard.

I don't know about towing.

There is no way to eliminate having those that argue on forums. And what can be considered arguments to some can just be how some have lively debate. Plus some can take some things wrong as things like tone of voice and body language can't be seen and heard with the typed words. Thus more things can be taken wrong and can snowball at times. Sometimes there are those do argue because they don't know how else to vent their frustrations. In this case the frustrations of waiting up to 2 years for a car they want now, seeing others get them in just a few months, and feeling ripped off by dealer additions that are added to orphans.

I'm willing to admit that sometimes I can be irritated too. But I try not to let it get under my skin so much that I can't enjoy the forums.
