While a tank might be safe, they are not known for speed or economy.

I have driven my little Smart on New Jersey highways. I have gotten up to 65+ mph. I think driving safely will help keep one safe.

But most of us don't truly Live!

My experience with my new Passion coupe is that crosswinds do make you steer your car, but I was pleasantly surprised how stable it felt at 90, and that is with stock rims and tires. I will have my new Genius wheels soon with wider stance and look forward to how stable it will feel.
