Just got here folks, Am 68 years young and we cant find a dealer close to us(50miles). were in central illinois, actually , the geo-center of the state of illinois.Went to our local dodge dealer to ask about the smart car and you would not believe the look on his face when asked,dumbfounded. he had no idea what we were talking about.
Only two dealers in Illinois - Chicago and St. Louis. I know it'd be nice to have one only 40-50 miles away, but for now that's not the case. I travel 80 miles to my nearest dealer. That's just the way that they're selected and set up today. I doubt there will ever be one on every other block like the Detroit Big Three - there isn't enough product to go around.
