Delivery charge

What is the shipping charge for a smart passion cabrio? Most car companies list the price plus a stated shipping cost on the web. smart does not. I am close to picking mine up and I already expect some surprises from my dealer so I want to be armed with the actual number.

Nation wide destination charges: $645 for all models (fixed by PAG/smartUSA).

Based on the amount of floor space they take up on the boat and their weight, I would have hoped for half that much.

yeah, you're right...the destination charge doesn't appear to show up on the web site - not even in the configurator- has it always been like that?

The pricing for different models and their options was established before the destination charge was known. The configurator was also put online prior to estiblishing the $645 fee.

Actually, I've (we've) known the amount of the destination fee (I not sure how - probably through this site) long before the configurator and pricing was set!

Of course, there's no option to go to port and pick it up yourself, so the destination charge is bogus.
