I opened my car door to let some one look inside once and he jumped right in! I guess he thought I was inviting him. After he got out and I got in, I could smell the stale smell of cigarette smoke and body odor that had been lingering on his clothes. I felt sick that someone so dirty had been in my car.
hook a stun gun to the chassis... 10k volts sends a really nice signal.
Only problem is having to move the twitching bodies out of the way when you go to leave.

I'm more careful now about showing it off.
EWWWWWWW, your cars been desecrated, now you have to steam clean the insides......
I can understand the Cabrio, but fingerprints wipe off, no harm-no foul.
Sorry, I was brought up with the code that you don't touch/fondle/mess with stuff that doesn't belong to you. I used to have a classic Rolls-Royce and I was always coming out to find fingerprints all over it. Once, my gf left her door unlocked and we returned to find muddy footprints on that side; checking the car, I discovered the owner's manual was gone from the glovebox.

I know, but with such a high profile car, it should be expected to see a few prints on it. The rest of what you decribe is above and beyond normal.
Absolutely disagree! Whether it's a Rolls, Lamborghini, Mini or smart ... it should NOT be expected. It is NOT acceptable.
Excepting friends and family, if somebody wants to start making my car and insurance payments for me, I will feel better about them treating the car like it belongs to them. Until then, hands off.

You disagree with me agreeing? Look, what I meant was that with a car like this, you will, from time to time, see prints from curious people on your car. If I'm there, you had better ask first but if you not there to stop it, whining about it here won't do anything about it. I bought a car that gets me attention, good and bad. If you don't like it, get a GMC.
As far as the stolen book and any touching that you CAN prevent, then yes. Say something. Its your car. They shouldn't just get in w/o your permission. But life is too short to gripe about fingerprints!

There are things far worse than fingerprints. I had a 1996 Nissan pickup. Some one scratched the window on the passengers side. I have no idea why. The little pickup did not have a radio or ac and nothing visible to take. There were boxes in the back that they could have taken without scratching the window.
