Export from Europe to USA

Hi there,

I am from Europe. I live in the Netherlands in the city of Amsterdam. I have two Smarts and I like to export boths cars to my wife in Los Angeles. Does anyone has experience with import, please inform me. Many thanks!!

PJ, you will have to convert them to meet US emissions standards. (Emissions is the pollution that comes out of the exhaust.) California is very, VERY strict.

You may be looking at a lot of money to convert them. You will not be able to get a number tag until they are converted.
