Hello folks,

I've been lurking around here for a little while. I'm thinking about getting a Smart and I'm just kind of biding my time until all the planets are aligned

and getting a feel for things and making sure that the Smart will be a good choice for an only car.... I do like to do more with less, I don't have any dependents or dogs, and I get a kick out of driving here there and everywhere, just kind of poking around.

A friend of mine asked me to accompany her to a dealership to look at a couple of used 450's (yes, I'm from Canada). She sold a 451 last year and although it took almost a year, she came back to her senses and started looking Smart again. To make a long story longer I took a 451 Cabriolet for a test drive while we were there. Beautiful sunny day with the top down, I pretty much fell in love on the spot. Although I'm not quite ready to buy, I'm leaning very heavily towards the Smart.

And my friend - she found the 450 of her dreams and life is good again!
