Getting my smart after only one month

The dealer sent out an email earlier today saying that they had too many display models and the first few people to come down, ready to buy a car, could have the opportunity to buy one. I just so happened to check my email about 3 minutes after he sent that out, and only 20 minutes after he hit send, we were down there. We worked it all out with the bank and my vehicle will be ready for me this tuesday. I only decided I even wanted a smart car one month ago, HOORAY FOR GOOD LUCK

Got a Black/Silver Passion with lojack, 3M chiprotect, 3M paint protection, and the cool looking clock/tachometer. Can't freaking wait until Tuesday.

How exciting! Congratulations. Have fun! We're on the list in Texas to get our's soon -- Sept. '09 - Nov. '09 and our DDE changed on Friday stating that our delivery date cannot be calculated, so we're hoping that means it is being built!

"09"? you meant '08, right?

if you DID mean '09, your car won't be built until a month or so before then....sorry.

I wish... Nah, I had to pay the normal price for the added features.

Oh, yes I did mean '08. The numbers begin to boggle my mind! -- and we are so anxious to get our smart. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Lojack was $900, I can't quite remember how much the paint protection was. I think it might have been close to $800 for both the sides and front.
