Going to be a new owner! (Canadian 450)

Hey!
I'm looking at both new and used Smarts. Great lease deals in my area for the base. $150/mo for 3 years.
Good price but I think I'm a bit vain for the base.
I've found a used '06 Night Run with 70000kms.
Nice looking car that's been well maintained.
From what I understand, the Night Run is pretty much the Brabus minus the exterior. Is that right?
Are these cars sought after or are they just "whatever"?
Any advice on typical problem areas to look for when checking out the car would be helpful.

Welcome; not much experience with the Canadian cars here (there are a few owners, however.) Might want to check Club smart car also.
