I stumbled upon this forum today while looking around the internet for Smart resources .. I'd placed my reservation last March (1180), but it didn't 'hit' me that I was really buying a Smart, until I got a call from the Smart dealership last week, telling me I could expect delivery within 30 days! I guess a small part of me was still half-expecting that the Smart car would never 'actually' be available in the U.S. ..

I feel extremely fortunate to live less than a mile from the Smart dealership in Universal City!
