That said, my trusty 22 year old son has a digital camera and knows how to use it, so soon I will get some pics...of course, his "fee" is to "borrow" the car...

It was fantastic to see all of the wonderful pics and I think I am sold on the Passion in Silver with Black interior.

Can anyone tell me what the dealer fee is or does it vary?

I am told that it will take over a year to arrive.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am thinking about ordering one and had a few questions. Please forgive me if I am not on the correct thread, but saw PITTSBURGH and just had to jump on.

I am looking to order the Passion in Silver with Black interior. Saw some great pics of all the colors and had a difficult time trying to decide.

I have been reading about ORPHANS and am not quite sure what this is? I am assuming that is a one that is already available????

Please let me know if there is a sooner way to get one without waiting 14 - 18 months.

Also, what is the dealer fee?

Greatly appreciate any input.

Delivery fees vary from dealer to dealer. See:

Plus destination charge: $645 nationwide.
Plus taxes, etc...
As for delay in deliveries, it depends on your location and the flow there, but sounds like a year minimum. Unless you get an orphan.

OK, the best way is to go to the smartcenter Pittsburgh (above the MB dealership on Baum) and ask for a test drive, and take it from there...

They are open all day today (Saturday). They have pcs in the showroom, so you can actually go online from there. And if you have the financial means on hand, you might actually run into an orphan and might be driving home in one...

"Orphans" are essentially those ordered by us, the potential buyers thru the $99.00 reservation system, who have decided not to have them and cancelled. They get their $99.00 back, and the dealership is "stuck" with these "unwanteds". That's when you and chance come in...
