Greetings from Washington, DC!

Hey guys,

I recently got rid of my 2008 BMW 335i for a 2009 smart car brabus cabrio!! Smartest decision I have made recently!

Man I love this car! It all started over vacation the other week when I started to complain to my wife that we are paying $600 per month for the lease payment and insurance on the BMW and we barely drive the thing!! Wife takes the metro to school everyday and I work from home.

So I started researching cheaper cars to buy outright and thats when it hit me. I love seeing the smart on the roads and would love to use it to help me advertise my business. Did someone say writeoff? Not to mention it just looks like a fun car to drive and I love that it is earth friendly.

Anyhow this car is awesome and boy is it a head turner! Any advise you guys can gove will be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on buying!

I'm in the same situation you are as far as car use- my long term girlfriend rides the metro and I work at home. The smart has always been sufficient for all our local shopping and driving, and even for some longer trips, like up to central PA.

The Cherry Blossom drive last year was a lot of fun, nothing like 33 smarts to really turn heads. It looks like turnout should be good this year as well.

Welcome to the fold and congrats on getting the Smart. You should see about going to the Cherry Blossom event in April. I did not go last year, but heard it was great. I look forward to going this year and seeing some pics of your Smart.

Greetings and Welcome.

for more local events: Go to Chapters & Regions (Left column) to see what the locals are doing. There is also an event in Williamsburg May 2nd.

Plan on attending the Dragon event in September. We do like our smarts!
