I've seen three driving in my town. Just found out I can pick up an orphan next friday so I'm doing that. I'm planning to use my Smart for advertising my business so it's important I get it before there are too many in this area. It still must turn heads!

Yes, actually - close to 20 of them at the NorCal meet all at the same time. We even went for a drive together through San Francisco. Pics in the gallery forum.

It's funny.. I have only seen one 450 last year.. haven't seen any 451's... my coworkers that know I want one keep mentioning that they're starting to see these cars once in a while... but I still haven't seen one. Hopefully I'll be seeing mine in my garage in 2 weeks! It landed at port last Wednesday!

This has got to be a first, I was traveling out of Ohio and say a Smart in a funeral procession ! It was traveling across Route 6 in Western Ohio and we couldn't believe our eyes.

I liv in Macomb County, Michigan and so far I have not seen even ONE other SmartCar, twin or otherwise! Complete strangers approach and constantly ask questions....mostly like "Wow. What is it?"

I just saw a red/black one as I was bombing down the LIE service road here afterwork. Made my afternoon after a really stressful meeting!

I've had two smart sightings since my purchase. One was on Sunset Blvd, just east of Pacific Coast Highway. A white/silver 451 heading the other way.

Second was parked in Westwood Village in Los Angeles. A yellow/silver 450. Still had its temp registration in the window, saw it was a 2005 coupe just purchased a few weeks ago. Note the gray market lights, and crummy padding on the ceiling.

I parked mine behind it (yes, illegally in the red) and got a few cell phone pics.

I saw a yellow, black one in Lakeville, MN I was in my red, black and they were crossing the road. I love my SMART.
