I just wanted to say hello to everyone.. I reserved my Smart car the day I read about them in the local paper here in Venice, FL towards the end of August. Actually, I reserved one for me and also one for my father. I drive and drag race diesel trucks. The fastest truck I now have is an 06 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins diesel. The best mileage I've been able to squeeze out of it was just under 28 mpg, and it recently ran 11.68 at 119 mph in the quarter on diesel only.. I truely enjoy playing with diesels to push for performance and mileage. It's not a diesel, yet I can't wait for my Smart car to use as my daily driver.. Again, hello to everyone..

For now, much of chatter on this list is "lite-forum" as we lack one of those new NA 451s to dig into. That will change come Jan 08.
