Hello, couple of questions

Hi all, I do not presonally own a Smart but my Mom has had hers for quite a few months and loves it. We, being my brothers and I, have been trying to find something to get for her for the car as a Christmas gift this winter.

Any ideas?

I am not new to cars, but looking for something simple and safe to do. For example, graphics probably wont go over well if she doesnt agree, mp3 and other things may not be worth it because it is usually just a daily commuter. Maybe GPS that she can carry from car to car?

There is one other Smart around town so I was thinking maybe somthing to seperate her's from the rest? (even though it is a different color)

I appologize if this is the wrong section, but I have searched online but nothing is really clicking. If it turns out nothing fits what I am asking that is fine, but I wanna try. I also dont want to void the warrantee as well... I think thats it.

Thank you for your help, here is a picture of what I daily BTW. RWD love.

EDIT: AWW I can't post pictures or links yet. Oh well

A good set of floor mats to match her car would not be out of place - the carpet in a smart is a bit on the light side...

A car cover from California poptop wouldn't be a bad gift!! There is one specifically for the smart.

if you want it to look different from the other car in town, look at some of the offerings from Billet and Acrylic Fantasies Welcome to Billet & Acrylic Fantasies (grills, tail light surrounds, pedal covers, sill plates. I've also gotten some nice stuff from Real Wheels RealWheels Truck, Car and SUV Parts and Accessories they have trim pieces for around the tail lights, logo flame surrounds (not as tacky as it sounds), interior trim pieces. There are also neat interior dash kits and such at Smart Dash Kits & Accessories
Hope that helps rather than confuses!

How about upgrading the OEM horn to an air horn that can actually be heard? Not expensive, increases safety and a real shocker when the honk comes from such a small car.

Personally I'd go with the portable GPS system that you mentioned or some really nice floor mats.

I got a pair of seat belt covers with the SMART logo off Ebay. They were quite inexpensive but look great.

Or talk to the Dealer and get a miniature version of her car. There are 3 different sizes.
