Confirmed an all black passion coupe several weeks ago. Saw one at the dealer with the chrome package. DDE has me in for December-Feb timeframe.

I am in central NJ. I have a metalic blue Fortwo. I ordered in July of 2007 and it arrived in March 2008.

I am in the Langhorne area. Do you guys have any idea if the Smart has a great record for longevity/high mileage driving in Europe? If I buy one, it would be for use in my business racking up 25,000 to 30,000 miles per year.

I would be buying it to replace a VW Jetta TDI which has given me 270,000 trouble free miles.

I'm in Western PA, near Pittsburgh. I put a reservation in 9/16/08 for a white Passion with silver trim, panoramic roof, and comfort pkg. Price, MPG, ESP, and safety ratings were what motivated me.

I have the same question that you do regarding the high mileage. I consistently put about 500 miles per week on my Santa Fe. Driving that much, it's easy to have over 100k miles in 3-4 years.

I did google searches for "Smart wieviel km" and "Smart quanti km", and saw one person had 150,000 km on his last Smart and another said their aunt had 200,000 km on her Smart, but these were just quick searches... I would like to hear more on the high mileage topic too.

Those mileage figures in Europe are probably older model 450's. Keep oil changed in any late model engine and treat with care, 100,000+ is a no brainer.
