I am waiting on mine. It is about one to two weeks out and sitting at the port in Baltimor.

I am starting to get a tast of the popularity that is the Smart Car. I am starting to fill up a day planner with people that want a ride when I get it.

I can't believe it is almost here....

I ordered a triple black cabrio with all the toys... I reserved it back in May of 2007 and confirmed in December... I have been snooping at some of the posts in the KC chapter so I have gotten to know a few of the local guys and gals...

I am all excited as we all are but I have been waiting for close to ten years to get my hands on one of these. I plan on going as far as I can with the Brabus thing. I have located quite a few of the cosmetic items but none of the performance items.

By the way that is a great idea about charging for the rides but as we all know if it was that easy we all would be rich... or at least have it paid for.

Let me know when you are all planning to meet here in KC and I will be there. My car may be here next week as it was waiting for a truck on the 7th according to Melinda.

I will be taking my SMART to the Kansas City Mercedes Benz Club Breakfast - First Watch - 11112 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Shawnee, KS 66203. On June 7th 2008.

Everyone in the MB Club is excited to see them. I am on the Board and invite All Local Smart Car Owners to show up.
